Airborne Displays
Cockpit or crew cabin, IEE knows how to build a rugged airborne display. The products we design for the commercial and military airborne markets range from enhanced flat panel operator consoles to in-cockpit avionics to space-qualified smart displays. IEE’s unique ruggedized packaging, electrical design and software capabilities make us the perfect source for airborne display solutions.
In line with the industry focus on Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), IEE is efficiently creating the next generation of "forward-looking" rugged displays for airborne applications. With careful attention to modularity, re-use and the applications for open standards, IEE is supporting the cutting-edge display capabilities within the latest system architectures and applications of C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) and 360-Situation Awareness (360-SA).
IEE also provides solutions for avionic display replacement requirements. The square aspect ratio family of displays are available for direct Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) and instrument replacement.
IEE’s rugged displays are flying on a wide variety of military and commercial aircraft and space vehicles. Our airborne display designs feature:
