IEE Upgrades QTPod Fuel Kiosks with 7-inch Rugged LCD Display Module

Display Featured on Next Generation Self-Serve Fueling Terminal, the M-4000

July 10th—2017, Van Nuys, CA—IEE, manufacturer of enhanced displays for military and industrial applications has designed, and is manufacturing a new 7-inch LCD high-bright display module for QTPod, manufacturers of self-service fuel kiosks for the aviation and marine industries. IEE’s new display design replaces its existing LCD character displays, and features several customer experience improvements.

“IEE has been the display provider of choice for our flagship M3000 self-serve fueling terminal for many years,” said Matt Duncan, General Manager of QTPod. “Our next generation M-4000 design includes a larger, brighter LCD color screen and wireless communications for ease of use.”

The new display also features a back-lit capacitive touch keypad for ease of use at night, and an auto-diming feature for reduced glare in low-light conditions.

The new 7-inch LCD display is a modified version from IEE’s OptiBright© line of ruggedized industrial monitors.
