IEE will be showcasing their line of Avionics Display Replacements that maintain the same form, fit, function and interface (F3I) of existing units while enabling future upgrades of next-generation video with the use of modularity and open architecture standards. These displays include a 6"x6" Multi-Purpose Display (MPD) for the F-15, and a 3 ATI Display for the F-16.
In addition, IEE will be featuring a 6"x 8" (10.4-inch) Multi-Function Display (MFD) for use on the F-15 aircraft under a multi-year production contract with the Air National Guard.
“The upgraded 6"x8" display now includes a fiber-optic based ARINC 818 Avionics Digital Video Bus, supporting integrated video and data communication on a single bus,” said Steve Motter, Vice President of Business Development. “This facilitates interoperability with avionics mission/display computer architectures.”
