IEE’s CDU will be used in the low-rate initial production of this jammer system. Developed for U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command, (NAVSEA), JCREW I1B1 systems are software-programmable jammers that provide protection from device-triggered improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Low Latency Video Processing
The use of distributed video in today’s ground vehicles requires the use of low latency “Glass to Glass” solutions (minimizing processing time from the sensor to the display). This is critical in applications such as targeting or driver’s vision enhancements. The IEE CDU’s hardware-intensive video processing provides low-latency display of any of seven inputs, spanning a wide range of formats. Graphics/symbology overlay, image manipulation and Genlock synchronization are functions of the integral video processor.

Van Nuys, Calif., – December 2012 – IEE, Inc., renown for its innovative, cutting-edge display technologies, now offers the world’s first all-aluminum pole display, expanding the company’s existing line of high-quality, high-reliability retail POS display peripherals.
Developed to comply with US public transportation fire-smoke-toxicity (FST) regulations, IEE’s new 2X20 9 mm vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) pole displays are replacing molded plastic poles with those made from flame-resistant aluminum. This makes the new displays ideal for use in mass transit applications such as ferries, trains and buses.
The new VFD Pole Display is designed to communicate through either a serial or USB interface. It comes in selectable pole lengths from 2” to 22”, and can be finished with selected lens and paint colors.

Rapid prototyping capabilities play crucial role in expedited delivery
Van Nuys, Calif. August 2011 – IEE, Inc., specializing in the design, test support and fielding of human system interface (HSI) display technologies in a wide range of military/aerospace, industrial and retail applications, announces the delivery of a highly legible display head to Vdot Systems, Inc., an avionics systems integrator and software development company. The display head was designed for use on the multi-function display (MFD) in the L-159 combat and training aircraft system, manufactured by AERO Vodochody.
The rapid delivery of the display head was facilitated by IEE’s extensive display knowledgebase, repurposed IP and state-of-the-art, in-house manufacturing facility. Mechanical samples were delivered in days and functional prototypes within weeks, well below the industry’s standard delivery times. The expedited development effort took less than ten weeks from concept to flight test article installation onto the aircraft.
