IEE Boasts New Manufacturing Capabilities

IEE has added new equipment and enhanced systems to its 130,100 square foot manufacturing facility located in the San Fernando Valley just north of Los Angeles.

Michael Tubbs, Director of Operations of IEE, said “with the addition of these new systems, we are operating with significant gains in our throughput and efficiency. This positions us with the latest technology capabilities needed for our increasing retail, industrial and military requirements, and allows our engineering department more freedom in design knowing we have the operational capability to support them”.

Systems added include a high speed flexible SMT placement machine which doubles IEE’s throughput capacity; a selective coating system which allows fully automated hands-free conformal coating to coat large areas quickly and eliminate the need for masking; and a high capacity rating air cooled shaker system utilized for multi-access vibration requirements including high volume manufacturing needs.
