IEE Introduces New Line of USB Powered Pole Displays
IEE, a major manufacturer of standard display modules and integrated display solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of a line of USB powered pole displays to its Retail Products line. The displays are available in vacuum fluorescent (VF) and full graphic blue/white monographics LCD technologies.
The VF displays are powered directly from any USB 1.1 port. These displays save space and simplify installation by eliminating the individual power supply brick. Available in a 5.7 dot matrix format, features include crisp, bright easily readable characters in heights of 5 and 9mm.
IEE’s 64x240 graphic mode LCD displays are available in two options. One model incorporates a "y" cable to accommodate a USB I/O connector and a brick power supply. The other model incorporates a USB PlusPower connector.
For the VF USB models, supported languages (fonts) include USASCII, European, Greek, Katakana, Cyrillic and Hebrew. Full pixel addressing is available in graphics mode. Optional character sets include Kanji, Hungul, and Big 5 Chinese.
Both models are compatible with all major after market pole displays. IEE fully supports OPOS (v1.7) and JavaPOS (v1.6) interface protocols. Modules are housed in impact-resistant enclosures in a variety of sizes and colors with swivel and soft tilt-recline adjustability. Numerous filter colors, pole lengths and mounting options are available including surface, wall, ceiling and POS organizer mounts.
